Two zirconia

Zirconium dioxide (chemical formula: ZrO2) is the main oxide of zirconium. It is usually white odorless and tasteless crystal, which is difficult to dissolve in water, hydrochloric acid and dilute sulfuric acid. It usually contains a small amount of hafnium dioxide. The chemical property is not active, and has the properties of high melting point, high resistivity, high refractive index and low thermal expansion coefficient, which makes it become an important high temperature resistant material, ceramic insulation material and ceramic sunscreen.

Silicon nitride

Silicon nitride is an important structural ceramic material. It is a super hard material with lubricity and wear resistance. It is an atomic crystal. It is resistant to oxidation at high temperature. Moreover, it can resist the impact of cold and heat. When heated to over 1000 ℃ in the air, it will cool rapidly and then heat rapidly without breaking. Because of its excellent properties, silicon nitride ceramics are often used to make bearings, turbine blades, mechanical seal rings, permanent molds and other mechanical components.

Silicon carbide

The hardness of silicon carbide is very large. Its Mohs hardness is 9.5, which is next to the hardest diamond in the world (Grade 10). It has excellent thermal conductivity and is a semiconductor. It can resist oxidation at high temperature. Chemical property is stable, thermal conductivity is high, thermal expansion coefficient is small, wear resistance is good.

Application of SWC graphite bearing

1.It should be used in the place where grease lubricant is not allowed to be used when the bearing is running.
For example, the bearings of the transporters used in the food, beverage, textile, chemical and other industrial sectors, the dryers used in the paper industry, the cloth dryers used in the textile industry, the artificial fiber looms and cigarette manufacturing equipment, and the submersible pumps. In these places, the use of grease lubricant is prohibited, and the self-lubricating performance of carbon graphite bearing is very strong, so it can be widely used in these departments without using lubricating oil for dry operation.

2.It is used in places where ordinary bearings cannot be used due to high temperature

Carbon graphite bearings can be used for bearings of ingot conveyor, boiler preheater, vent valve and blower of flame tube in boiler room, material conveyor of high temperature furnace, feeder in iron and steel industry and regulator of flue valve, which can ensure its normal operation.
3.Application in chemical and textile industries

Some bearings run in corrosive gas or liquid. In this case, not only the use of grease lubricant is prohibited, but also the metal bearings will be corroded quickly. For example, centrifugal pump with impeller bearing immersed in various liquids; fuel metering pump with bearing immersed in gasoline, paraffin, kerosene and other liquids; central heat circulation pump with main impeller bearing immersed in hot water; mixer with bearing operating in various corrosive media; automatic washer with main impeller bearing immersed in hot water; liquid with bearing immersed in various liquids The carbon graphite bearing is used in the measuring meter and in the wet spinning machine with acid splashing. In addition, modern technology also needs carbon graphite bearing to be able to be used safely in the complex environment of radioactive medium.

Molybdenum disulfide solid lubrication

Molybdenum disulfide, the main component of molybdenite. Black solid powder with metallic luster. Chemical formula MoS2, melting point 1185 ℃, density 4.80g/cm3 (14 ℃), Mohs hardness 1.0-1.5. Application: molybdenum disulfide is an important solid lubricant, especially suitable for high temperature and high pressure. It also has diamagnetism, which can be used as linear photoconductor and semiconductor to display p-type or n-type conductivity. It has the function of rectification and energy exchange. Molybdenum disulfide can also be used as catalyst for dehydrogenation of complex hydrocarbons. It is also known as the "king of advanced solid lubricants". Molybdenum disulfide is a kind of solid powder which is made from natural molybdenum concentrate by changing molecular structure after chemical purification. This product is black with silver gray, metallic luster, greasy and insoluble in water. The product has the advantages of good dispersion and non adhesion. It can be added to various kinds of grease to form a colloidal state of non adhesion, which can increase the lubricity and compression resistance of grease. It is also suitable for high temperature, high pressure, high speed and high load mechanical working conditions, extending the service life of the equipment.

The main function of molybdenum disulfide used in friction materials is to reduce friction at low temperature, increase friction at high temperature, reduce loss on ignition, and volatilize easily in friction materials.
